The Financial Review of Books is a website founded by Jonathan Eric Lewis in 2011 to provide a critical, nonpartisan assessment of, and thoughtful commentary on, recent scholarship on economics, finance, and political economy.

Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to, banking law and policy, the debt crisis, economic theory, housing and mortgage finance, and regulation.

Michael Brady

Michael is our most appreciated author at Financial Review of Books. Not just because he pulls info from god knows where (we swear we believe he spends his nights in the national library digging!), but because he has the most ridiculous sense of humor (also very dark at times). If he wasn’t an accountant, he would have been a comedian, and the world would probably be a much happier place.
